Late Updates...Pt. 1

I haven't written for a few days because one of our hotels didn't have internet connection until we left, and I forgot to bring my Chromebook in last night.

On the 10th, we went to the International Rose Test Garden in Portland. It's where they develop new varieties of roses and test them out. Founded in 1917, it is the oldest public test garden in America that's still in use.
It was so beautiful! They have 600 different varieties of rose there.
Many I had never seen before. Some were purple and white striped roses, and one had solid pink and solid white roses on the same bush. I loved being there. :)
Then we went next door to the Portland Japanese Gardens. They say it is the most authentic Japanese Garden outside of Japan.
It was beautiful there, too. There were waterfalls, pretty fish (Koi) filled pools of water, a bridge with a creek underneath it, lovely green trees, and many other things.
I didn't want to leave! :)

I have to get ready to go now.
We are heading to our next location soon.

To be continued... :)
