For the 4th of July, we went to Columbia.
We had a really fun time!
We went to the parade, had a picnic lunch, listened to a band play patriotic songs, watch a greased pole contest (where kids try to climb up greased wooden pole, to get some money that's on top of it), and many other things.
It was a bit hot, but it was worth it!
In the evening, when it was dark enough, we lit sparklers and some fireworks we bought. It was a great ending to a great day! :)

Overall, probably our finest fourth together as a family. Good memories were made...Praise God from whom all blessings flow!
